As per an authorized Apple channel partner, the pre-bookings of the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 have already debuted via online retailers including Infibeam and Flipkart and it is claimed that the models will be available across the Apple authorized retail stores starting from November 29.
When it comes to pricing, the iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi only model is priced at Rs 35,900, Rs 42,900 and Rs 49,900 for the 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants, whereas the iPad Air 2 cellular and Wi-Fi models are priced at Rs 45,900, Rs 52,900 and Rs 59,900 for the aforementioned configurations. On the other hand, the iPad mini 3 will be priced at Rs 28,900, Rs 35,900 and Rs 42,900 for the 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants of the Wi-Fi only model. The cellular and Wi-Fi models of the miniature variant is priced at Rs 38,900, Rs 45,900 and Rs 52,900 for the respective models. To refresh on the specifications, iPad Air 2 features a 9.7 inch 2048×1536 pixel display with anti-reflective coating. It is powered by the A8X processor teamed up with 2 GB of RAM. There is an 8 MP iSight camera, a 1.2 MP FaceTime camera and connectivity options such as Wi-Fi and TouchID sensor. The iPad mini 3, on the other hand, boasts of a 7.9 inch display with similar resolution and makes use of a 64 bit A7 dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM. There is a 5 MP rear camera, a 1.2 MP front camera and a battery that is capable of lasting for up to 10 hours along with TouchID sensor.
