When docked to the PadFone station, the device will transform into a tablet with a 7 inch IPS+ display with HD 1280×720 pixel resolution. Under its hood, the Asus offering is equipped with a 1.6 GHz dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor that is teamed up with PowerVR SGX 544MP2 graphics unit and 1 GB of RAM. The storage requirements of the users are handled by 8 GB of native storage support that can be extended externally by another 64 GB using a micro SD card. In terms of imaging capabilities, the PadFone mini features an 8 MP primary camera accompanied with LED flash and a 2 MP front facer for seflies and video conferencing.
