BSNL says that the offer is useful for subscribers who wish to watch live IPL matches. “BSNL presents IPL pack Unlimited data STV-248 for prepaid mobile customers which give unlimited data (3 GB data per day) with a validity of 51 days during the period of IPL cricket match. This will be useful for our subscriber to stream live IPL matches at a very economical rate,” reads their statement.

The new BSNL Rs. 248 plan provides users with 153GB of total data. The plan comes with a validity of 51 days for the whole IPL cricket tournament. Notably, the new BSNL offer comes with a FUP limit of 3GB per day. If we talk about other operators, Reliance Jio has announced Jio Cricket season pack offering 102 GB data for Rs. 251 during the IPL season. Bharti Airtel also provides free live streaming of IPL matches through Hotstar on its Airtel TV app. But, BSNL is offering the cheapest data in the market. Last week, BSNL also released several new prepaid packs and revised its postpaid plans as well. It introduced a Rs. 118 prepaid plan that offers 1GB data, and unlimited voice calls (including roaming except for Delhi and Mumbai circles) with a validity of 28 days. It also unveiled a Rs. 379 plan that offers 4GB data per day and unlimited BSNL-to-BSNL voice calls (30 minutes per day) for 30 days.
