Bowen Pan from Facebook announced the launch of Lasso app in his tweet on Saturday. He also added that app was available only in the US for now. There is no word about the global release of the app as of now. The Lasso is available for both Android and iOS.

Facebook’s Lasso is actually a video app that has a lot of effects and filters through which users will be able to make fun videos. This app is equipped with video-editing tools that allow users to add text and music to the videos. All videos and profiles will be public in this app.
You will need to log-in using your Facebook or Instagram account to make an account on Lasso. You will be able to share videos from Lasso to the Facebook Stories as well and linking with Instagram Stories is also expected soon. You can download Lasso in the US from App store and Play Store now.
