Facebook introduced games in its messenger app last year and there were about 20 games initially. Currently, it has over 70 games from more than 100 developers which are available worldwide. Apart from the new games, Messenger games also get the ability of live streaming your gameplay to friends and engage in conversations with video chatting.
Live Streaming
The first feature is live streaming, which has started rolling out today. For gamers who love to share their playthroughs, the new live streaming capability makes it simple to play and share their experiences. The feature is easy to use while playing a game.
You just need to tap the camera icon located in the upper right corner and choose the audience you want to broadcast your live streaming. You can also add a short description to say something about your video and record it by just pressing the “Start Live Video” button. Once the streaming ends, the video will be published to your page so that friends can watch it later and you can also remove the post at any time.
Video Chats
The next feature is video chats while gaming. The feature will enable people to play games with each other while video chatting. The video chat feature will be introduced early next year and ‘Words with Friends’ from Zynga will be the first game to use the feature. The feature will also allow friends to watch each other’s reactions as they score in the game.
