The Gionee invite doesn’t reveal much about the new bezel-less phones; however, some reports claim that the phones might be the Gionee F6, Gionee M2018, Gionee S11, S11 Plus, and the Gionee M7 Plus. To recall, Gionee S11 has also been spotted on TENAA and GFXBench last month and packs the similar Full View display. The Gionee M7 Plus could be the upgraded version of Gionee M7 that was launched in September.
Gionee bezel-less phones specifications
If we talk about specs, as clear by the poster the entire range of eight new smartphones from Gionee will come with 18:9 aspect ratio display that would offer the minimal bezels. The handsets are expected to run Android Nougat with Gionee’s own Amigo OS skin on top. The Gionee M7 Plus and M2018 are likely to be the flagship phones. They may feature a leather back panel and offer up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Another device by the name Gionee S11 that has appeared in a GFXBench listing is reported to have a 6-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6763 chipset and coupled with 4GB of RAM. For imaging, it sports a single 16MP main camera and a 4MP front camera.
On the other hand, the TENAA listing also reveals a device featuring a similar full view 6.01-inch AMOLED display. The device is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core chipset. It is further coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It is supposed to have four cameras- two on the back and two on the front. It will probably come with 16 MP dual camera on the back side and 20MP + 8MP dual cameras on the front. These could be the variants of the Gionee S11. To recall, last year’s Gionee S10 was also launched in three variants. So, we can expect the same from the new S11. So, apart from three S11 variants, there is Gionee F6, Gionee M2018, and Gionee M7 Plus. All the details about the new bezel-less Gionee smartphones would be revealed on November 26.
