Following Lenovo’s steps, Gionee has come up with this VR centric phone. It comes with G-Store where you can find a lot of VR games. It also comes with Split Screen feature which allows you to have multiple apps open on the same screen, so you can watch videos and message at the same time, for example.

The Gionee S6 Pro comes with a 64-bit Octa Core Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10SoC and is coupled with 4 GB RAM. S6 Pro sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920×1080) display. The display comes with a high performance real time pixel processing engine which controls sharpness, contrast and colour to enhance picture quality. It is a 2.5D curved display and comes with Corning Gorilla glass for protection. It comes with 64GB internal storage and can be expanded through microSD card as well. The phone is nicely designed and comes with a metallic unibody and a 3D camber line. This makes the phone more stylish and comfortable to hold in hands. S6 Pro comes with a 13 MP rear camera with Sony IMX258 sensor, an f/2.0 aperture and 5P lens. The front camera is an 8MP one with f/2.2 aperture. The phone comes with inbuilt video editor and also has various modes like beautification, time lapse etc. The S6 Pro comes with 3130 mAh battery and has a USB type C port for charging and data syncing. On the connectivity front it comes with 4G and is VoLTE enabled which means you can use Jio SIM for calling directly from the Phone app. The fingerprint sensor on this phone unlocks in 0.1 seconds. It runs on Amigo 3.2 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Pricing and Availability
Gionee S6 Pro is available in Gold and Rose Gold colour variants. It’s sold for Rs 23,999. And VR Set will be sold for Rs 2,499. The device will be available across all stores from 1st October 2016. As an introductory offer, Saavn provides a three month subscription of Saavn Pro for free.
