The Honor 8X sports a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) IPS LCD display panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display of Honor 8X is the first TUV Rheinland certified for eye protection. The smartphone runs EMUI 8.2.0 on top of Android Oreo.
Under the hood, the Honor 8X is powered by a new HiSilicon Kirin 710 SoC paired with a Mali G51 GPU and GPU Turbo technology. It comes in 4GB/6GB RAM options and 64GB/ 128GB internal storage options. The storage is expandable up to 400GB via dedicated card slot.
In the optics department, it sports dual rear camera setup with a 20MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. The rear camera supports AI features like 22 scene recognition, AIS Night Shooting mode, and AI sports shot. It also supports AI Super Slo-Mo recording at 120fps/480fps.
