The chipset employs 4 cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz aided by Adreno 306 GPU and 1 GB RAM. Internal storage is 8 GB and is expandable via MicroSD card support. 64 bit chipsets will ditch age old ARMv7 architecture and use latest and more energy efficient ARMv8, but other benefits remain unclear at this point of time. The Cortex A53 Snapdragon 410 however formed on 28nm process, will be substantially faster than Cortex A7 cores in Snapdragon 400 32 bit SoC and more energy efficient as well. Display is 4.7 inches in size with humble 854 x 480 pixels spread across it, which won’t be a deal breaker if HTC keeps the price in check. Operating system is Android 4.4 kitkat layered with HTC Sense UI on top. Imaging hardware includes 5 MP rear camera and a basic VGA camera at the front. Powering all internals, a 2100 mAh battery will be housed inside its 9.99 mm thick body. Other features include 3G, WiFi b/g/n, DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and GLONASS. HTC hasn’t detailed the price yet, but has stated that it will lie in affordable price segment. HTC Desire 510 in Terra White and Meridian Grey colors, will retail in global markets some time later.
