The main highlight of this smartphone is the new “Edge Sensor”. It is believed that the touch sensors will be embedded in the frame around the phone. It will let you to quickly open any app or perform any action by simply by tapping or squeezing the metal edges.

HTC U 11 Specification
Talking about specification, HTC U 11 will be sporting a 5.5 inch Quad-HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 835 paired with either 4 GB or 6 GB RAM depending upon the variant you choose. The phone will be having 64 GB or 128 GB of inbuilt memory. Camera optics will be including a 12 MP rear camera with Sony IMX362 sensor and a 16 MP selfie camera with IMX351 sensor. It will be running on Android 7.1 Nougat and will be backed by a 3,000mAh with Quick Charge.
Connectivity options on the HTC U 11 will include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and a Type-C USB port. It will be having dual speakers with HTC’s USonic earphones. It will be be coming with pretty slim bezels which is pretty common in flagship smartphones these days.

The HTC U 11 is launching on May 16. It’ pretty hard to tell anything about the pricing now but since this device will be directly competing with Samsung’s Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus, we expect it to be priced very competitively.
