HTC U Play Specifications

The HTC U Play comes with a 5.2-inch full HD Super LCD display with a pixel density of ~428 PPI. Just like the U Ultra, the U Play also features Sense UI, but it is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The U Play comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. The RAM and storage have two options – 3GB/4GB and 32GB/64GB. There is also an option for MicroSD card slot. Camera duties are handled by a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 lens. The rear camera comes with OIS, Phase Detection Autofocus and dual tone dual LED flash. The front camera also features the same 16 MP f/2.0 lens.

The HTC U Play misses the headphone jack and is compensated with USonic technology. This personalised sound experience is delivered through built-in microphones in the earbuds that “listen” for sonic pulses and adjust audio accordingly. Connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, dual band, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and NFC. The phone is powered by a 2500 mAh battery and comes with fast charging support. It features a USB 2.0 Type C reversible connector.
