Huawei had already confirmed that it will launch the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro with Kirin 970 processor and full-screen display at an event in Germany on October 16. Moreover, the tipster already had posted the specifications of the Mate 10 Pro code-named ‘Blanc’. He had revealed that it would have a water-resistant body, Android 8.0 (Oreo) and f/1.6 aperture dual rear camera. Now, he has posted a closeup shot of rear camera confirming LEICA SUMMILUX-H 1:1.6/27 ASPH lens with laser autofocus.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro Specifications
If we talk about Mate 10 Pro, most of its specifications had been leaked earlier. As per reports, it will feature a 5.99 inch (2880 x 1440 pixels) Quad HD+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio.
Coming to the hardware, it has already been confirmed by the company itself. It is powered by an octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 processor with Mali-G72MP12 GPU. Memory wise it is expected to pack 6GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB storage, which will be expandable with microSD card. The phone features Hybrid dual SIM support (Nano + Nano/microSD). On the software front, it will run on Android 8.0 Oreo with Emotion UI 6.0 on the top. In the camera department, it is to feature dual rear cameras with 20MP (Monochrome) + 12MP (RGB) Leica lenses and f/1.6 aperture. The camera will also feature dual-tone LED flash, Laser AF, and OIS. At the front, there is an 8MP camera. On the back side, it features a fingerprint sensor beneath the dual camera setup. The phone measures 7.5mm in thickness. It is also water and dust resistant with IP68 certification. Connectivity options on the Mate 10 Pro will include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, and NFC. It will house a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support. Apart from Mate 10 Pro, the tipster also hinted about another variant codenamed as ‘Alps’ which is also anticipated to be launched as the Huawei Mate 10 Lite. Speaking of its specs, it is expected to feature a 5.88 inch Quad HD 16:9 screen, Kirin 970, 4GB RAM, 8.23mm thick body and a 4,000mAh battery. Further, details and specifications of the Huawei Mate 10 which is codenamed ‘Marcel’ are not out as of now. We will have to wait until October 16 to know the exact specifications of all the devices when Huawei unveils its Mate 10 series at Munich.
