The display is 4.5 inches in size, with 854 x 480 pixel FWVGA resolution. The IPS LCD display lies midway between Moto E and Unite 2 in terms of display size and resolution. The processor used is 1.2 GHz Broadcom Quad core unit, the same Broadcom BCM23550 processor that we saw in Xolo Q1000 Opus. The processor is backed by 1 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage which can be further extended by 32 GB using MicroSD card. Iris X1 features an 8 MP camera at the rear, which leads in terms of mega pixel count and also boasts of a BSI+ sensor and dual LED flash support. The rear camera is capable of recording full HD 1080p videos.  A 2 MP front facing shooter is also present for selfies and video calling. The battery capacity is 1800 mAh and there is no word on the battery backup yet. The Dual SIM smartphone (Normal SIM + Micro SIM) is only 8.9 mm thick and weighs a moderate 138 grams. Other features include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and GPS.  Iris X1 also supports USB OTG connectivity. Lava is also offering an intelligent Flip cover powered by hall sensor that puts the phone automatically in sleep mode ensuring reduced battery consumption.
