After introducing the LG X4+ earlier in January, LG has come up with a light version of the mid-range phone. The new X4 packs a similar 5.3-inch HD screen and is powered by the Snapdragon 425 processor. It has similar features like LG Pay just like the LG X4+.

LG X4 Specifications

The LG X4 sports a 5.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display just like the LG X4+. However, it is not known if it also comes with same military-grade durability with MIL-STD 810G standard as the X4+.

The LG X4 is powered by a 1.4GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 SoC with Adreno 308 GPU.  Memory wise, it packs 2GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16GB internal storage which is expandable with a microSD card. Camera wise, it sports an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. It has a fingerprint sensor placed below the camera that lets you quickly capture selfies. The device runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. Connectivity options on the device include a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, HD DMB TV for mobile TV experience besides the regular 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and NFC. The phone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. Dimension wise it measures 148.6 x 75.1 x 8.6mm and weighs 164 grams.

Pricing and Availability

The LG X4 is priced at 297,000 won (US$ 273 / Rs. 17,780 approx.). The device comes in Black and Gold color options and is already available from all the major carriers in Korea. There is no word when it will be available in other markets.
