The Lenovo-owned company has launched its Moto G and Moto E series of smartphones back in April at an event held in Brazil. While the Moto G6 has already launched in the Indian market, the Moto E5 series is now ready to come to India. Motorola India has revealed that only one variant- Moto E5 Plus will be launched in the country on July 10.

Moto E5 Plus Specifications

Moto E5 Plus sports a 6-inch IPS  HD+(720×1440 pixel) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone has a P2i splash-resistant coating to protect it from splashes of water. The phone runs stock Android 8.0 Oreo and is powered by the Snapdragon 435 processor with 3GB of RAM. It packs 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB.

In terms of camera, it sports a 12MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, laser autofocus, phase-detection autofocus (PDAF), and LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, 3.5mm earphone jack, and Micro-USB port. It packs a 5000mAh battery, with Turbocharge support that offers 6 hours of battery life on 15 minutes charging.

Price, availability

The Moto E5 Plus was priced at €169 (Rs. 13,510 approx.) but it is expected to be cheaper in India. The phone will come in Black and Fine Gold color options. We should know the price of the smartphone when it is launched next Tuesday.
