The IPS LCD display size has been bumped up to 5.5 Inches and the display resolution is comfortable 1280×720 HD. The handset is powered by Octa core MediaTek MT6752M (4 x Cortex A53 + 4 x Cortex A53), which will be a worthy challenger to Snapdragon 615. The chipset is clocked at 1.5 GHz and aided with 16 core Mali T760 GPU, 2 GB Ram and expandable internal storage. There is an 8 MP rear camera coupled with 5 MP front camera. The dual SIM handset measures 152.6x 76.2 x 7.9mm and is fairly light at 140 grams. There is a massive 2900 mAh battery to keep things running while other connectivity options include Dolby ATMOS audio support, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

We are eager to test how MT6752 works out as initial leaks and benchmarking has been considerably positive. This will indeed challenge Yu Yureka and new Moto G in India. Lenovo A7000 comes in Onyx Black and Pearl White colors and has been priced at $169 (Rs. 10,450 approx). India price could be a tab bit lower.
