To recall, OnePlus had launched the OnePlus 5 smartphone in India back in June in Slate Gray and Midnight Black colors. While the Midnight Black variant came with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, the Slate Gray was available with 6GB RAM with 64GB storage only. Also, earlier this month the company launched the Soft Gold version of the smartphone in India with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.

To recall, the device features a 5.5 inch full HD ( 1920 × 1080 pixels ) Optic AMOLED 2.5D curved display. It is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The dual SIM phone runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Oxygen OS on the top.

The OnePlus 5 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.45GHz with Adreno 540 GPU. The device houses 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB/128GB storage. One of the highlights is its camera department which sports dual rear camera setup. The 16MP primary rear camera with Sony IMX398 sensor and f/1.7 aperture comes with dual LED Flash and EIS. The secondary 20MP camera featuring Sony IMX350 sensor comes with f/2.6 aperture. The rear camera can record 4K at 30fps, 1080p at 60 fps, and 720p slow motion at 120fps. The device features a 16MP front-facing camera with Sony IMX371 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. The Fingerprint sensor is integrated in the home button. The smartphone features a 3.5mm audio jack, 3 microphones with noise cancellation, and Dirac HD Sound. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO), Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB Type-C, and NFC.
