Camera and Internal Storage
The Galaxy Ace Style is an average performer when it comes to the imaging capabilities. The smartphone equips a 5 MP auto focus camera at the rear along with a VGA front facing snapper to make video calls. We say it is average as the camera is pretty much suitable for basic photography. The storage needs are quenched with a low 4 GB of internal memory capacity, which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. This is pretty low and there is no word regarding the support to store apps on the external memory card.
Processor and Battery
The Galaxy Ace Style is stuffed with a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor under its hood that is paired with 512 MB of RAM. Given these details, we cannot expect decent level of multi-tasking from the smartphone. Battery capacity of the latest Samsung handset is 1,500 mAh, but the backup offered by this battery is still not revealed by the company.
Display and Features
Samsung has included a 4 inch capacitive touchscreen display boasting a resolution of 480×800 pixels in the Galaxy Ace Style. This display totals to a pixel density of 233 pixels per inch, which is again on the average scale. Connectivity is taken care of by features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, NFC (depending on the market) and micro USB.
Comparison
Analyzing the spec sheet of the entry-level Galaxy Ace Style, it can be said that the smartphone will be a tough challenger for the phones such as Moto G, LG L70 Dual and Moto X that are also packed with similar specs carrying reasonable price.
Key Specs
Price and Conclusion
Samsung remains tight lipped on the pricing of the Galaxy Ace Style smartphone, but the handset is claimed to hit the stores by the end of this month. Being an entry-level smartphone, it boasts average specifications that are acceptable, but the inclusion of an enhanced battery and powerful processor would have made the entire package a better one for its consumers. Finally, the success of the smartphone highly depends on the pricing that Samsung has planned for it and if the handset is priced appropriately, it would be a winner in the already crowded smartphone market.
