Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 7 in the month of August. It turned out to be the unluckiest smartphone from the South Korean manufacturer. A minor fault in the battery designing of the phablet resulted into a disaster. Samsung had to issue a worldwide mass recall of the Galaxy Note 7. Soon, the company scrapped the product altogether. Just a few days ago, Samsung announced that it will resale the refurbished units of the recalled handsets.
Coming to the Galaxy Note 8, the company is extra careful. Even though the absence of its predecessor has left a void in the market, the company will not launch the new phone in a haste. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 shall be released at its designated time only. The announcement date may be the usual month of August which falls well within the second half of the year. This means, that the next Galaxy Note 8 might be launched ahead of or at the same time as the new Apple iPhones. Speaking of the specifications of the upcoming flagship phablet we suspect it to be quite similar to the Galaxy S8+. The Note 8 will certainly come with the Infinite display, maybe an even better one. The phone might be powered by the Snapdragon 835 and/or the Exynos 8895 chipset. The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to sport 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM combined with up to 256 GB of onboard storage.
