Design and Display
If we talk about design, the Smartron tphone P sports a metal unibody, 2.5D curved glass at the front while the 10.or D features a plastic body. Both of them also feature a fingerprint scanner on the rear. 3GB/32GB- Rs. 5,999 In terms of display, both the phones feature a 5.2-inch HD display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. Overall, display-wise both the phones are almost similar, but the tphone P features a metal unibody design which makes it a winner in this segment.
Processor, Memory, and Storage
The tphone P is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 chipset with Adreno 505 GPU. In terms of memory, the tphone P packs 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. Smartron also offers 100GB cloud storage as well, which should help distinguish the tphone P from its competitors, giving it an added advantage. On the other hand, the 10.or D is powered by a less powerful quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset with Adreno 308 GPU. For memory, it comes in two variants- 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB. So, in terms of hardware, the tphone P is clearly a winner with octa-core processor and upgraded GPU. Moreover, the tphone P also offers 1000GB cloud storage which is a plus point for it.
Battery
The battery is the highlight feature of Smartron tphone P – it packs a massive 5,000mAh battery. The company claims that the phone should offer 2 days of battery life. The 10.or D is powered by a 3,500mAh battery, which is also said to offer a standby time of two days. The tphone 5 is again a clear winner in this department as well, and despite its much higher capacity, the battery can charge fully in about 3 hours.
Software and Performance
Both the phones run on Android 7.1 Nougat – while the 10.or D runs on stock Android, Smartron tphone P offers near stock Android with some extra features and apps. When it comes to performance both the phones are similar and offer the same experience. Overall, both the phones are same in terms of software, and performance. Both offer good software experience.
Camera
In terms of camera, both the phones sport a 13MP rear camera, with LED flash, HDR, and Panorama. Up front, both the phones also have a similar 5MP camera, however, the tphone P also sports front flash.

The Smartron tphone P is priced at Rs. 7,999 and comes in black color option. The 10.or D is priced at Rs. 4,999 for the 2GB/16GB model and 3GB/32GB variant is available for Rs. 5,999. It comes in Beyond Black, and Aim Gold colors. So, we can see that 10.or D is priced slightly less than tphone P, however, with features like metal body and better processor, the price difference doesn’t seem that important.
Conclusion
Coming to the conclusion, both the phones are similar in terms of display and memory. However, when it comes to design and power, the tphone P trumps the 10.or D. Further, in terms of storage, the tphone P also has an edge over the 10.or D with its cloud storage. In addition to the above factors, the tphone P also offers a better camera experience, making it the clear winner among the two phones.
