[table id=154 /] Let’s take a look at how the devices fare across some areas of comparisons.

Display and Processor

The display on both devices are pretty much the same – 5.2 inches LCD display with FHD screen resolution (1080 x 1920) that has great clarity and viewing angles. The processors on both devices though are the first major difference; while both have octa-core processors, the Huawei Honor 7 combines the 2.2 GHz quad-core A53 with the 1.5 GHz quad-core A53 processors and is backed by the Hisilicon Kirin 935 powerful chipset. The Sony Xperia Z3+ on the other hand runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with the quad-core 2 GHz A57 and the 1.5 GHz A53 processors which is known to have heating issues.

Camera and Internal Storage

The Honor 7 camera is one of the best cameras you can get compared to most flagship models at a cheaper price. Not only can it take great photos in daylight, but it also performs well in low-light conditions as opposed to the low-light performance of the Xperia Z3+. Additionally, the camera user interface on the Honor 7 also provides you with several options to enhance your photography skills. Storage wise, the Xperia Z3+ comes with 32 GB by default as compared to the Honor 7 that offers you a choice of either 16 GB or 64 GB but at the end of the day, both devices support upto 128 GB only (via the microSD card)

Build Quality & Looks

On the build quality department, Honor 7 easily wins with its looks and build quality. It is a premium phone with metal back compared to Z3 Plus which has a glass back. However, the Xperia Z3+ does look good but the build quality is not that great.

Other Features

As you can see from the specs table, the Honor 7 has the better battery (3100 mAh) compared to the 2930 mAh battery on the Xperia Z3+, which is probably why the Honor 7 is heavier at 157 gms compared to the 144 gms of the Xperia Z3+. The trump-card of the Honor 7 in this category though would be the Fingerprint sensor, which makes it an excellent proposition considering both phones have similar specs.  If you’re still undecided, consider the price tag – the Huawei Honor 7 will cost you INR 22,999 whereas the Sony Xperia Z3+ is almost double at INR 42,990.
