Moto G5 Plus
The Moto G5 Plus comes with a 5.2 inch full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. It comes with either 2GB, or 3GB RAM option with 32GB of internal storage. There is also a 4GB RAM model with 64GB of internal storage. On the camera front, it sports a 12 MP dual autofocus camera on the back with dual LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. It has got a front mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3000 mAh battery and will come with a Turbo charger in the box. It will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat with Android Assistant out of the box. Lenovo is going to launch the Moto G5 Plus on March 15 in India. It will be priced above Rs. 15,000 in India.
Xiaomi Redmi 4A
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A sports a 5 inch HD (1080 x 720 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a quad core Snapdragon 425 chip-set. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It comes with 4G VoLTE and dual SIM support. Camera optic includes a 13MP rear camera with an LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. It packs a 3,120mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8 skinned on top. This is a budget oriented smartphone and Xiaomi is soon going to launch this device in India. It will be priced very competitively at around Rs. 6,000.
Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017)
The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) comes with 4.7 inch HD (1080 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 2.5D curved glass display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by an octa core Exynos 7870 SoC. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via microSD card. It features a very premium build with metallic edge. It sports a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera. It features a fingerprint sensor and IP68 certification which makes it water and dust resistant. It packs a 2350mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Samsung has already launched Galaxy A7 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017) in India at very high price tag. Now soon Samsung is going to introduce Galaxy A3 (2017) also in India. Talking about pricing, it is going to be bit expensive at around Rs. 20,000 or maybe bit higher though being a mid-range smartphone.
ZTE Nubia N1 Lite
The Nubia N1 Lite sports a 5.5 inch HD (1080 x 720 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by a Mediatek quad core 6737 chip-set with 2GB of RAM. It has got 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable. It comes with a 8MP with dual LED flash and a 5MP front camera. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery and features a fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It comes with dual SIM and 4G LTE support. ZTE can soon introduce this smartphone in India. Since this is again a budget segment smartphone hence price is expected to be below Rs. 10,000.
The Nubia Z11 Mini S sports a 5.2 inch full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by an octa core Snapdragon 625 chipset and is paired with 4GB of RAM. It comes with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage which is further expandable. Camera optics include a 23MP rear camera with PDAF, LED flash and a 13MP front camera. It packs a 3,000mAh battery and features a fingerprint sensor. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a USB Type-C port. ZTE may launch the ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini S along with ZTE Nubia N1 Lite in India. ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini S is mid range smartphone and will be priced around Rs. 15,000 most probably.
Vivo XPlay 6
The Vivo XPlay 6 sports a 5.5 inch quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED panel with dual curved display. It is powered by a quad core Snapdragon 820 chipset with 6GB of RAM. It comes with 128GB of non-expandable storage. It comes with a dual camera setup on the rear. Rear has got a 12MP camera and a 5MP camera with OIS, PDAF, and dual tone LED flash. Front is equipped with a 16MP selfie camera. It packs a 4,080mAh battery and features a fingerprint sensor on the front. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Vivo may soon launch the XPlay 6 along with few other models in India. This is a high end smartphone and will be priced at somewhere between Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 45,000.
Availability & Launch Dates
Only Moto G5 Plus launch is confirmed so far which is March 15. It’s hard to say anything about the other devices as of now since there is no official confirmation from the respective companies. However most probably all the other smartphones will be launched by March or mostly by April. Talking about availability, most probably all the devices will be available for purchase soon after the launch.
