Vivo V5 Plus Specifications

The Vivo V5 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch full HD in-cell IPS LCD display, resulting in a pixel density of ~401 PPI. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the latest version of toughened glass. The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Funtouch OS 3.0 on top.

Powering the V5 Plus is a 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The Indian version of the phone does not come with a microSD card slot. Coming to the most important part, imaging – the V5 Plus comes with a 16MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. The rear camera also comes with Phase Detection Autofocus. On the front, you get a dual camera setup. The main 20MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and 5P Largan lens. It is assisted by an 8MP camera next to it, which is used to capture depth of field details. The two front cameras are assisted by a Moonlight LED flash. Other features include a fingerprint sensor and an AK4376 audio chip for an enhanced sound experience. Connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The V5 Plus is powered by a 3160 mAh battery and comes with fast charging support.

The Vivo V5 Plus has been priced at 1799 RM in Malaysia, which is approximately $400. Indian pricing details will be known soon when the phone launches in India.
