The leaked images of Vivo XPlay 7 show the front side of the phone featuring the new full view display. However, its back panel looks similar to its predecessor, the Vivo XPlay6. The renders also reveal that it features a dual rear camera, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C port and dual external speakers.
Vivo XPlay 7 specifications
If we talk about features and specifications, Vivo XPlay 7 looks really fascinating with a true bezel-less design. The leaked snapshot suggests that the display of Vivo XPlay 7 will offer the first-time 100 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Coming to the hardware, the XPlay 7 is expected to feature the next-generation Snapdragon 845 chipset, which is yet to be announced. It will expectedly come packed with 8GB of RAM, with storage options of 128GB and 256GB. Speaking of the camera, the phone will sport dual rear cameras and these are expected to be a pair of Sony IMX401 sensors with 4x optical zoom support. The Vivo Xplay7 may also feature a dual camera setup at the front as well. Moreover, it also seems that the rumored Vivo Xplay7 could be the first smartphone with the advanced under display fingerprint scanner technology. To recall, Vivo had showcased its under-display fingerprint scanner technology back in June during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai 2017. As per the leaked images, the XPlay 7 may come in Black, Gold and Rose Gold color options. Considering the fact that the handset will be powered by the Snapdragon 845, we can expect it to be launched in the first quarter of 2018.
