The device list includes Redmi 1S, Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 3 Pro, Redmi Note 3 (Special Edition), Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 3G, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi Note Prime, Redmi 3, Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime, Mi 2, Mi 2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Mi 5, Mi Note, and Mi Max.

Regarding the update, people already running on MIUI 7.5 will directly receive a notification for the MIUI 8 OTA update when it is available or they can also check the updater app to check the available update. Redmi 1s, Redmi 2/2S, Note 3G, Note 4G, Mi4i should have already got the update and Redmi Note 2 and Redmi 2 will be able to receive the OTA update on August 23rd onwards. The update will be open to everyone on August 25th.
