Since the Xiaomi Mi4 lacks a MicroSD card slot, the launch of 64 GB variant will be appreciated by Xiaomi fans in India. But will the price of 23,999 INR be good enough to placate price sensitive Indian market?

The primary advantage will be the stainless steel frame which lends it a premium build and finish. The main difference will be the difference in display size. Those who like the more manageable 5 inch display size will prefer Xiaomi Mi4 for its gorgeous 5 Inch full HD display protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The processor used is Snapdragon 801 quad core (Krait 400) ticking at 2.5 GHz, assisted by 3 GB RAM for smoothly handling Android 4.4.2 KitKat based MIUI 6.0.

The primary rear camera has a 13 MP sensor, 1/3 Inches in size and with large 1.12 Micrometer pixel size for better low light performance. The rear camera, aided by Dual tone LED flash can record 4k videos. The 8 MP selfie camera at the front can be used for Full HD video recording as well. Xiaomi Mi4 houses a 3080 mAh battery which can comfortably last for more than one day of usage. There is no NFC or 4G LTE connectivity in Indian variant of Mi4.
